Questions

What is Nurse Nanny?

Nurse Nanny is a group of babysitters who love children and are also in healthcare. We are here to provide you comfort and a peace of mind while you are away.

Does Nurse Nanny offer care for sick children?

No. Our sitters do not keep sick children. They would be risking spreading those germs to other families they sit for as well as their own families, classmates at school, and coworkers at their healthcare jobs.

Can I tip my Nurse Nanny?

Yes. 100% of your tip goes directly to your sitter.

How do I pay?

Nurse Nanny uses Square to collect payments. Your sitter will check you out through the Square App on her phone after you arrive home.

Does Nurse Nanny provide medical care?

No. Nurse Nanny is not a home health company. We are here to babysit and care for your children!

Are all Nurse Nanny sitters CPR certified, background checked and in the health care field?

All of our sitters are CPR certified and background checks are either directly completed by Nurse Nanny or by their professional schools/health care employers. Our regular sitters are all in the health care field. We have a few back up sitters that help us out on busy days who are not in health care, but they go through the same hiring process and are booked at a lower rate with family approval beforehand.

How does booking with Nurse Nanny work?

We mainly utilize a private Facebook page where parents post their request for sitters with date, time, ages of children, and their phone number. A sitter will comment they are available and text you!
